About Sharlene Try @ ‘ekto23’ Vibrant, enthusiastic and insightful Shar has led a life of many colourful experiences. Ten years of travel through Europe and India were topped by a Degree in Digital Design at the Queensland College of Art. Since then, Shar has worked for different companies and freelanced as a designer. In 2007 Shar completed a Diploma of Project Management and staged a solo-exhibition of large format digital art. The collection, a culmination of two years of creative outpouring, was well received by the Gold Coast audience. Driven by her heart steered with her mind, she loves creativity and works in design. Her portfolio is balanced by examples of designs for the client and artwork that is pure “Shar”. Working with Shar is enjoyable and satisfying. She is organised, has empathy toward the needs of the target market, can accurately interpret a client’s brief and skillfully applies her wide range of software knowledge. |

Shar Try, ekto23 - An Introduction: I am a freelance designer contracting to businesses and agencies with my own studio/office, equipment, ABN and insurance. I have a professional attitude, Degree in Digital Design, Diploma of Project Management, five years design industry experience and boundless creativity: all ready to provide you with visual communications solutions. My experience includes newspaper, magazine and online advertising, print design and production of long format print publications, brochures and internal/external communication materials and interactive presentations. I have also worked on projects which involved producing marketing proposals; project plans; web interface design; logo design and branding; DVD authoring; video production; animation; special effects and live video streaming. I particularly enjoy working with a team of creative people in a creative capacity to produce high quality work, on time with accuracy. Being able to understand the brief, develop fresh ideas, and bring them to life in a professional manner is evidenced in the work I show in my portfolio and the examples on this website.
